Meet Mrs. Appaloosa Horse!
She comes to us from Contra Costa Animal Services and was treated at Well Pet Vet Clinic.
Appaloosa is a 7 year old, 7 pound female Chihuahua and Dachshund mix. She came in to the shelter as a stray that was hit by a car. She has a hip fracture and is on limited activity for the next month but should heal fine.
She is missing quite a few teeth but will be getting a dental once she gets spayed next week.
She is available now to a quiet home who will keep her rested for the next month while she heals. After she is cleared, she will have no restrictions. She is currently on pain medication but should be coming off of that once healed.
Her foster home says that she is a sweet girl that loves to give kisses. She loves being held or just sitting next to her Mommy and Daddy. She likes being outdoors and loves to sun herself! She gets along with other dogs and will make someone an awesome companion for the person lucky enough to adopt her.
To make a tax deductible donation towards Appaloosa's care, please do so at /UOH

To inquire about adopting Appaloosa, please send a detailed email to beourpet@gmail.com
